Barwon South West Regional Trails Master Plan

The Barwon South West Regional Trails Master Plan aims to sustainably develop existing and new walking and mountain biking trails throughout Victoria’s south-west. The trails will wend their way around some of Victoria’s most spectacular scenery, from the Surf Coast to the south-west coast, from the Otways to the Grampians.
Nine south-west Victorian local governments from Geelong to the South Australian border, including the Surf Coast Shire, came together to commission the plan’s development to help maximize the benefits of trails for walkers, mountain bike riders, locals, visitors, communities and the environment.
Surf Coast Shire is now accepting public submissions on the Master Plan, until Friday 24 July. Submissions can be made by emailing info@surfcoast.vic.gov.au or in writing to Barwon South West Regional Trails Master Plan, PO Box 350, Torquay, Vic 3228.
