Your Community and Civic Precinct
The Surf Coast Community and Civic Precinct is Council’s most significant endeavours in providing the community and recreation facilities of the future.
Council has appointed a multi-disciplinary design team to complete detailed design work on stage one of the project. Following a design competition that included submissions from three design teams, Melbourne-based Perrott Lyon Mathieson (PLM) was appointed after presenting a proposal that delivered strong value for money and reflected the coastal character and feel of the Surf Coast Shire.
PLM will act as head architect through the process, bringing design expertise and supervising a team that includes public art, landscaping, recreation planning and environmentally sustainable design experts.
PLM presented these illustrations (file size 1.1Mgb) of its concept for the Community and Civic Precinct to Council..
