Moriac Structure Plan

 

Council has prepared a draft Moriac Structure Plan 2031 to manage land use and development within the township well into the next 15 to 20 years.

The draft plan is on public exhibition until 18 December 2009 to enable public comment.

Public Information session

To provide an opportunity for people to be informed about the draft structure plan, a public information session will be held as follows:

Date: Thursday 26 November 2009

Time: 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Venue: Moriac Community Centre, Hendy Main Road, Moriac

No need to RSVP, just drop in at any time during the session.

Making a submission

You are encouraged to provide council with a written submission about the draft plan. The closing date for submissions is 18 December 2009. Submissions must be sent to:

Next stage

Following the public exhibition of the draft structure plan, submissions will be collated for Council’s consideration. The draft plan will then be adopted.
