Local Area Planning - Past Events

Anglesea and Moriac priorities presented to Council

At recent Local Area Planning sessions in Anglesea and Moriac, more than 50 community participants from each town came together to discuss local issues and priorities. From these discussions, reports were compiled by community members and Council staff. These reports, one for both Moriac and Anglesea, were then presented by community members directly to Council at a Council Briefing (a forum usually reserved for Council staff and Councillors only) on 11 December.

For a copy of these reports, please go to the Surf Coast Shire eForum http://eforum.surfcoastdirectories.com/ and follow the Local Area Planning discussion tab. This eForum is designed to encourage community discussion about local issues, so please feel free to comment on the Local Area Planning process, the reports or share your ideas.

Alternatively, if you would like hard copy of the report, please contact Rochelle Harding on on +61 3 5261 0600 or localareaplans@surfcoast.vic.gov.au.

Local Area Planning activities will continue in other identified towns in 2008. To register your interest to be involved, please contact Rochelle Harding on on +61 3 5261 0600 or localareaplans@surfcoast.vic.gov.au. For information on what has happened so far, click on the below links.
