| Rate Payment Due Dates Rate Notices are usually forwarded to ratepayers in August each year. When are Rates due? If you choose to pay your rates in a single lump sum, you need to pay by 30 September 2009 to avoid any interest penalties. Payment of council rates is by four equal instalments.
