Council has proposed minor changes to the Road Management Plan following a recent review, and is now seeking community feedback.
The plan, initially adopted in June 2017, outlines how Council will meet its obligations under the Road Management Act to inspect, repair and maintain its sealed and unsealed roads.
Minor updates endorsed by Council at its 25 September meeting include:
- Amendments to wording to provide greater clarity of the road uses
- Alterations to the timing of some inspections to reflect the current state of the road network
- Reduction in the time to remove some vegetation defects.
