The Victorian Seniors Festival celebrates older Victorians and the valuable contribution they make to our community.

Now in its 38th year, this important Victorian initiative is being bought straight to you in your home to keep everyone safe and continue to produce a great festival.

From July until 31 October 2020, the Victorian Government is offering a wide range of weekly programming:

As part of Seniors Festival 2020, Surf Coast Shire is proud to present two online activities.

Friday 30 October at 11am - Local performer Nicholas Darcomb will be performing live music, puppetry and sharing parts of his life story into your living room.  Nic's relaxing world music is performed on Didgeridoo, American Indian flute, Kalimba and the Harmonica.

The Online Crafters Exhibition is a project that showcases the traditional craft skills of four senior members of our community and the role craft has played in their history and lives.  The four profiles have been curated into an online exhibition of stories and photos that will be available for one month from Friday 30 October.
