The MAC is a community-led arts facility that offers the opportunity for multidisciplinary local artists (including visual and performing artists) to develop and present their work to audiences.

We do this to amplify and develop the visual and performing arts on the Surf Coast, for the benefit of artists and the community.

Yellow Gums Performance Space

89 & 91 Sunset Strip, Jan Juc

Jan Juc’s creative community collaborated to produce this space as an opportunity for performers to share their talents, showcase creative diversity and continue the ancient traditions of storytelling. It is our community’s space for music, performance and locally grown events, combining nature and the creative arts in perfect harmony under the Yellow Gums.

Anglesea Art House

Anglesea Art House is a working gallery offering tutored classes and group sessions across all mediums. Members art is available for sale with the Gallery open most days when volunteers on duty.

Anglesea Art Space is a community-based gallery run by Surf Coast Shire Council on Wadawurrung Country.

The space is available to emerging and established artists of all disciplines (incl. visual art, performance, installation) to exhibit, work and experiment at minimal cost.

We strive to support artists to develop professionally, sell artworks, connect with other creatives and widen their audiences.

Anglesea Memorial Hall

The recently upgraded Anglesea Memorial Hall encompasses a ticket box, main hall with stage, lighting rig and production box, dressing room, meeting room, kitchen and amenities.

Available for hire for performing arts, music and exhibitions.

Deans Marsh Community Hall and Memorial Reserve

Comprises the main hall with stage and kitchen that can be used for music, theatre and arts and craft, alongside the heritage Footy Shed art gallery, kiln and printing press.  Ongoing craft gatherings, exhibitions and workshops.

Winchelsea Shire Hall

28 Hesse Street, Winchelsea

The newly refurbished Winchelsea Shire Hall has reopened its doors as it begins its next chapter as home to the Winchelsea Community House. The perfect place for art exhibitions as it is an historic and beautiful building that suits all forms of exhibition.

Open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 2pm, offering a range of community activities, including events, exhibitions, children’s story time and youth drop-ins.
