Apply for funding to run your own IDAHOBIT Event

This year, we are celebrating IDAHOBIT day by supporting community events that mark the day and help address bias and violence experienced by LGBTQIA+ people. 

We are funding projects with grants up to $1,000 that align with the IDAHOBIT 2023 priorities:

Go Rainbow and be visible.
Pride up and host an event.
Change the world and build inclusion.

Grant applications are now open and will close on 30 April for events or initiatives that take place between 17 May and 17 June.

Celebrate with us

On IDAHOBIT day, we will be raising the rainbow flag proudly at the Torquay Shire Office. Please join us for a ceremony and morning tea to follow. Registration to this free event is essential.
