Mental Wellbeing Connections

Over-65-image.jpg

Our team of Jules Haddock from The Anxious Bird and Debbie Walker from Seaire Yoga understand the impact of isolation and loneliness in contributing to the marked increase of mental illness experienced by those in the ageing population.

This project enables you to connect with like-minded people throughout the engaging, informative presentations, energising easy movements, calming mindful exercises and the social, informal morning tea sessions.

Learning about and adopting the theories associated with psychosocial connectivity are paramount to all of our mental health.

The project will provide a significant increase in the conversational confidence and literacy around mental illness, that will provide a platform for connection, the ability to reach out to others for support when needed as well as confidence in, and ability to support others.
