The Surf Coast has Torquay Library and a mobile library, both part of the Geelong Regional Libraries network.

Torquay Library is located in Surf City Plaza (corner of Beach Road and Surf Coast Highway). It has:

  • Books, music, magazines, movies, audiobooks, ebooks and more for loan,
  • 12 computers with internet access,
  • iPads for use in the library,
  • free WiFi for members,
  • weekly Preschool Storytime, Toddler Time and Babytime Nursery Verses,
  • touchscreen PCs with early literacy and numeracy games for children, and
  • wheelchair access and a computer at wheelchair height.

Becoming a library member is easy and free.
