Updated July 2025

We're building a 2.5-metre wide shared pathway with landscaping along Silvereye Street and Cormorant Way, between Rosella Road and Magpie Way, near Torquay Coast Primary School.

Works will commences in mid July and are expected to be completed by the end of August.

The landscaping works include planting of native trees, installation of seating and water fountains. The pathway will include linking pathways into Torquay Coast School and other adjoining existing pathways. A raised pedestrian crossing (wombat crossing) will be installed at the end of Cormorant Way near Heath Street.

Once completed this pathway will continue to create safe walking and cycling routes through Torquay.

While the works are underway the work area will be fenced off for safety. We ask that all cars and caravans are removed from this area before work commences.
