You can make Council payments securely on the internet using your Visa or Mastercard.

You can pay over the phone by ringing 13 18 16 and quoting the Billpay code and reference number on the front of your notice.
Come in to the Council office or go to any post office to pay in person using cash or cheque. Payment by EFTPOS (credit and debit card) is available at most post offices. Credit cards accepted are Visa and Mastercard only.
Detach your payment slip and mail with cheque or money order made payable to Surf Coast Shire (no pins or staples please). Retain the top portion for your records as no receipt will be issued. Mail your payment to:

You can set up rates payments as a quarterly or monthly direct debit from a nominated cheque or savings account.

- Quarterly payments will be deducted from your nominated account on the instalment due date.
- Monthly payments will be deducted as per the dates on Council's written confirmation to you.

Contact your participating financial institution to make a rates payment from your cheque, savings account or credit card. Quote your Biller Code and Reference Number indicated on the front of your rates notice.
