Here are some of the fabulous organisations helping others enjoy art in our community. This is by no means an exhaustive list.

Anglesea Art House

Anglesea Art House provides a work space for artists and craftspeople and a place to exhibit their work. There are regular classes in painting and pottery and mosaics and weekend workshops. The Annual Art and Craft Show is held over the Queen's Birthday weekend in June and is the highlight of the year for members to display and sell their work. During January, a holiday program in painting and crafts is held daily for the kids.

Amateur theatre group meets Tuesdays at 7:30pm at Anglesea Hall McMillan Street Anglesea. Usually do one to two shows annually as well as host the One Act Play Festival in August, always seeking members of the community with or without theatre skills, great place to develop more experience in theatre. We welcome off stage crew, or people keen to simply serve tea and coffee on performance nights, come along and join the fun, members range from 15 to 75 years of age.

Hoop Gallery is situated in the Multi Arts Centre at Surf City Torquay on Wadawurrung country. Every year this not-for-profit gallery hosts more than 20 exhibitions, programs, workshops and events of local significance, in addition to several community-inspired displays. Our vision is to provide and inspire creative experiences while empowering local artists to excel.

Riverlee Winchelsea Artists is an informal group of painters who gather together fortnightly for watercolour classes under the tuition of Dee Matheson.
Quambachooks en plein air painters under the guidance of Sally Miller, organise excursions at regular intervals around the countryside. 
We have had access to the studio on the Riverlee private property in Winchelsea but will be relocating for classes at a venue to be arranged in 2022. 
We exhibit together at the Globe theatre twice a year and also at the Anglesea Art Space .
Our artists also exhibit from their own studios during the Open Art Trail across the Hinterland. 
Numbers are limited for tutored classes but open for en plein air excursions.

Singing For Fun

Singing For Fun brings people together to sing in a relaxed and non-threatening atmosphere. An activity you can join whether you believe you can sing or otherwise. Normally meet the last Friday of the month at Bellbrae Hall 6pm to 8pm. Includes a light meal and a supported environment.

Skipjack is available to MC or host local fundraisers, openings and events. Available to enliven festivals as roving performers and to run workshops.

Surf Coast Arts

Surf Coast Arts Inc. is a volunteer run community group which produces, encourages and develops the arts in the Surf Coast Shire. We provide a quarterly newsletter, run summer music gigs, hold a Wear Artrageous Parade each year, manage the Torquay Cowrie Market and assist in many programs and activities. A chance to talk and practice performance repertoire. All Wild Movers past and present are encouraged to attend. Gold coin donation. This is an excellent group if you are keen to be a part of the Surfcoast Wildmovers. On Thursday nights 7pm to 9pm. BYO drum
