Under the Safer Local Streets and Roads program, Surf Coast Shire Council received funding for five road safety projects.

Council managed electric vehicle charging on the Surf Coast

Installation of four public electric vehicle charging stations in Lorne, Aireys Inlet, Anglesea and Winchelsea is progressing with the Lorne and Anglesea chargers now operational, and installation commencing on the Winchelsea EV charger.
