Mosquitoes

What we do
Our mosquito management program normally runs from October to April each year, and involves monitoring and treatment of major breeding sites of the three main mosquito species in the region. The main areas of focus include around the Anglesea River and the Karaaf Wetlands in between Breamlea and Torquay. We also monitor and treat additional locations across the Shire as necessary.
Mosquito management programs can't eliminate all mosquitoes, but can go a long way in reducing numbers.
