The kerb and traffic control device* renewal includes full or partial renewal or replacement of kerb and traffic control devices within Council road reserves or Council reserves.  

* Traffic control devices include signs, line marking, barriers and other devices used to regulate, warn or guide road users. 

Works included in this program:

  • Renewal of sections of concrete kerb.
  • Full replacement of road segments of kerb.
  • Speed hump replacment.
  • Roundabout renewal.
  • Traffic island renewal.

Below are some of the packages of works we are working on this year. Other smaller works not listed here may be undertaken as required.

All works are at different stages of planning and delivery. This page will be updated with the date of works once they are confirmed. 


Kerb renewal

Expected completion June 2027.

  • Baines Crescent, Torquay - north kerb form No. 10 to No. 24.
  • Smith Street, Winchelsea - west side kerb from Dwyer Street to No. 13 Smith Street.

Miscellaneous works

  • Speed hump replacement - replacement of brick paving adjacent to Jan Juc Creek.
