Council operates four electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.  

All of our public EV chargers are connected to the Chargefox network.

Aireys Inlet

Location: Aireys Inlet Community Hall, 6 Great Ocean Road, Aireys Inlet
Capacity: 50kW
Price: Usage – $0.45/kWh, Idle – $1.00/minute 

Anglesea 

Location: Anglesea Community Hub, 3 McMillian Street, Anglesea 
Capacity: 20kW
Price: Usage – $0.25/kWh

Lorne

Location: Lorne Visitor Information Centre, 15 Mountjoy Parade, Lorne
Capacity: 50kW
Price: Usage – $0.45/kWh, Idle – $1.00/minute

Torquay

Location: Council office, 1 Merrijig Drive, Torquay
Capacity: 22kW
Price: Usage – $0.25/kWh

Winchelsea

Location: 1B Willis Street, Wincheslea
Capacity: 50kW
Price: Usage – $0.45/kWh, Idle – $1.00/minute (from install date)

A note on pricing

Usage fees for our public chargers are aligned with each charger’s individual capacity. Chargers with lower capacity have a corresponding lower usage fee per hour.

Idle fees are in place to encourage turnover, ensuring fast charging stations are available to the maximum number of users.
