Playground renewal

The playground renewal program is the full or partial renewal or replacement of playgrounds and fitness equipment in Council reserves. 

Works included in this program are:

  • Replacement of components in a playground, ie. swings, flying fox cables, slides, etc. 
  • Full renewal of a playground.

Below are some of the packages of works we are working on this year. Other smaller works not listed here may be undertaken as required.

All works are at different stages of planning and delivery. This page will be updated with the date of works once they are confirmed.

Playground renewal program

  • Quay Reserve, Torquay - playground renewal. Planning is underway.
  • Bark Hut, Aireys Inlet - playrground renewal. Works will be starting in September 2026 and be completed by November 2026.
  • Three Bridges Playground, Jan Juc - metal component replacement. Works will be completed in August 2026.
