Join emergency experts for a personal emergency planning session

All community members are invited to join a session with emergency management agencies to help prepare for the high-risk weather season and other local risks.

The event will offer attendees practical guidance and information to help in creating a personal emergency management plan.

Experts from the Country Fire Authority, Red Cross, State Emergency Service and Barwon Water will all be in attendance.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Bushfire and grassfire risks
  • Essential service disruptions
  • Dam and structural risks
  • Storm and severe weather preparedness
  • Creating your own personal emergency plan


There will also be an opportunity to learn about, ask questions and share feedback on the Surf Coast  Municipal Emergency Management Plan.
