The Globe Theatre

A Heritage Listed building, The Globe Theatre was built in 1926 and was used for concerts, movie screenings, weddings, dances and horticultural shows. It remains a beloved space for both community and private events today.

The two room facility features:

  • A large main hall (10m x 18m) that can accommodate 360 people standing or 160 people seated
  • Accessible side entrance suitable for wheelchairs
  • Separate supper room that can seat 40 people
  • Kitchen with two large stoves and fridge, suitable for catering

Included with hire of the facility:

  • 160 chairs
  • 20 tables
  • Cutlery and crockery for 160 settings
  • Tea and coffee
  • Piano
  • Heating
  • Internal toilets that are accessible for all
  • Parking for approx. 30 cars

Please note that all functions are required to finish by 12.00 midnight.
