Council Meetings

The Council Meeting is conducted on the fourth Wednesday of each month commencing at 6pm, usually at the Surf Coast Shire Council Chambers, 1 Merrijig Drive, Torquay, Victoria.

The monthly meeting is open for the public to attend. You are invited to come and watch your council in action. The Council promote and encourage community participation in the governance of Council.

The Local Law No. 2 - Meeting Procedure regulates the proceedure for meetings, election of Mayor and use of Common Seal.
