The Anglesea Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Coastal Road Show is an opportunity for you to learn more about staying active, connected, and healthier, wealthier and wiser in your community.

Learn about mental health strategies, general health and wellbeing, social connections, options for financial support, SCAMs, digital banking, dementia etc. etc. etc.

Come and go as you please, enjoy scrumptious all day grazing, show-bags, raffles and giveaways!

This is a FREE event supported by your local community bank, Council and community groups.

Wiser Driver

Would you like to be a Wiser Driver?

Free courses are being held to support older people to stay safe and connected in their communities.

This four-week course will upgrade your knowledge and build on your experience to keep you driving safely. Morning or afternoon tea provided.

Torquay sessions
Monday 4, 11, 18 & 25 May 2026, 10am-12pm, KMCC, Merrijig Drive 

Winchelsea sessions
Friday 6, 13, 20 and 27 February 2026, 1pm-3pm, Winchelsea Shire Hall

Feeling a bit confused and overwhelmed by the My Aged Care system?

Surf Coast Shire Council invites older residents, carers and families to attend a free information session to better understand aged care supports.

These two hour sessions will cover:

  • Understanding the new My Aged Care system
  • Navigating services and supports
  • How to get started and what to expect
  • What are the alternatives?
  • Questions and answers time

  • Lorne Community Connect - Monday 9 February 2026, 10am to 12pm
