Voices from Home - Masterclass Expression of Interest
Emerging local artists with a practice in theatre-making, acting, writing prose or poetry, spoken word, songwriting or storytelling are invited to work with lead artist Megan J Riedl to prepare a piece of writing for performance as part of the ‘Voices from Home’ project.
Artists will prepare up to five minutes of text for performance, working with Megan in a day-long masterclass to explore their text through dramaturgical and directorial analysis and develop techniques for a dynamic solo performance.
Following the masterclass, participating artists will join Megan to share their work as part of the ‘Voices from Home’ community performance.
Key dates
Masterclass: Saturday 7 November 2026 (held in Anglesea)
Community performance: Sunday 15 November 2026 (location TBC)
Participants must be available to attend both dates.
Express your interest
Only eight places are available, so we’re inviting interested artists to submit a short Expression of Interest.

- a little about you and your creative practice
- why you’re interested in being part of ‘Voices from Home’
- what you hope to gain from the masterclass
- confirmation that you’re available on both Saturday 7 and Sunday 15 November
You don’t need to submit a formal CV or application – we just want to hear about you, your practice and why you’re keen to take part.
As places are limited, submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a place.
