Cr Mike Bodsworth spent 15 years working as a landscape architect and land-use planner before taking up ‘home duties’ and supporting his wife’s home-based small business.
Cr Bodsworth holds a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Planning and Design. He worked for the W.A. State Government as a recreation planner and designer, and for the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee as a project manager. He has particular experience in nature-based recreation and tourism planning and design, visitor risk management and landscape management. He has experience working with communities ranging from remote Aboriginal communities to communities along the Surf Coast.
Cr Bodsworth is an avid surfer, mountain biker and lover of nature and the outdoors. He has been a member of the Anglesea Bike Park Committee of Management for over ten years.
