Coogoorah Park Boardwalk - temporary closure of section

Council continues to work on renewing part of the Coogoorah Park boardwalk in Anglesea.

We expect works on this upper north-east section to be completed between July and October. We’ll let you know the start date when it’s confirmed.

In the meantime, the section of elevated walkway remains closed. While we’re working on the replacement, people can continue to reach the northern island via the gravel pathway.

The boardwalk, constructed in 1985, has deteriorated over the years and is due for replacement. This involves removing this segment of boardwalk within the park and replacing it like for like, with a similar design.

Thanks for your patience.
