What are Community Asset Committees?

Community Asset Committees (CACs) are made up of volunteers who directly manage daily operational activities at nominated halls and recreation reserves on behalf of Surf Coast Shire Council. The Committees create greater local connection and bring local knowledge that results in more effective use of the facilities.

Becoming a committee member

Join a passionate group of people dedicated to maintaining, managing and promoting the use of valuable facilities in your community.

Anderson Roadknight Reserve

Includes Aireys Inlet tennis courts and community hall.

Anglesea Bike Park

The committee organises regular working bees to maintain the bike park and welcomes anybody wanting to lend a hand.

Connewarre Reserve

Includes hall, skate park, playground, tennis courts, sports fields and equestrian centre.

Deans Marsh Community Hall and Memorial Reserve

Includes hall, community cottage, skate park, playground, pavilions, tennis courts and sports oval.

Eastern Reserve

Includes pavilion, sports oval and netball courts.

Globe Theatre

Includes the main theatre, supper room, kitchen and amenities.

Modewarre Reserve

Includes hall, playground, tennis court, sports oval and historic bluestone building.

Stribling Reserve

Includes the pavilion, sports oval, indoor stadium and outdoor netball court.
