Maternal Child Health (MCH) Appointments and Centre Locations
The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service is a free health and wellbeing service available for all families with children from birth to school age. We provide education, information and support to families on a range of topics, including infant feeding and growth, physical health, play and development, mental health and family violence. We can also connect families with playgroups and other activities, and refer on to other health and wellbeing specialists in our region.
For new babies, your hospital or midwife will advise us of the birth, and we'll reach out and offer you and your family a home visit. After that, you can come and see us at your local MCH centre.
Appointments are scheduled at 10 key ages and stages in a child’s development. Additional appointments are also available when you or your child need them.
You can read more about the MCH Service and what to expect at appointments here.
To book an appointment at any of our centres, please call 5261 0549, or fill out an enquiry form and someone from our term will contact you.
