Sleep and Settling Support
Whilst it’s completely normal for babies and young children to wake up during the night, or struggle to settle for a daytime nap, it can create challenges for the whole family. If you’re struggling with your baby’s sleep, our Child and Family Health team can help.
Centre appointments
You can talk to our nurses about sleep and settling at your child’s regular check ups, or you can book an extra appointment if you would like a little more time to focus on this topic. Bookings can be made by calling 5261 0549, or submitting an enquiry form.
In-home support
Some babies and parents need a bit of extra support. Our Child and Family Health team provide free in-home support to help. Home visits vary depending on each family’s needs, but can include talking about sleep and routines, looking at baby’s sleep environment and showing you different settling techniques to try with your baby.
Talk to your MCH Nurse, call 5261 0459 or submit an enquiry form.

Parents can self-refer, or you can talk to your MCH nurse or GP to request a referral.
