Council invites community to celebrate International Women’s Day with A Wisdom of Age: In Conversation with Jacinta Parsons.

Australian broadcaster, writer and advocate Jacinta Parsons will reflect on her career, lived experience, and her latest book A Wisdom of Age, which shares the powerful voices of women and challenges ageist narratives around growing older.

Jacinta will be interviewed by local author Chrissie Bellbrae.

The event will include opportunity to buy or have books signed, followed by a shared afternoon tea at Hoop Gallery, with time to explore its latest exhibition.

The event is free but registrations are essential.
