Repair Cafe Surf Coast occurs the first Sunday of every month (except for January, May and July).
Volunteers from the Repair Cafe repair broken and worn-out things and save these items from going to landfill, one fix at a time.
Volunteers have the skills, knowledge and experience to repair a variety of items including clothing and textiles, toys, jewelry, bikes, small electrical and mechanical items, garden tools, clocks and more.
There is no charge for repairs. Donations are appreciated to cover the costs of running the events.
The Kids' Tinkering Zone provides an opportunity for kids (3-15 years) to use tools to take apart and reassemble a range of broken items to see and learn how they work.
The Repair Cafe is no longer collecting blister packs for recycling.
Last repairs at 1:30pm.
