Childrens Week

Children’s Week is coming up and to celebrate Surf Coast Shire Council is hosting free events in Torquay and Winchelsea.

Families are invited to join in the events, which will include puppet shows, pop-up activity stalls, and a Welcome to Country.

Event Details:

Torquay: Tuesday 21 October, 10am–12pm at Elephant Walk Park, The Esplanade.

Winchelsea: Thursday 23 October, 12.30pm–2.30pm at HMK Kinder, Hesse Street.

Cr Adrian Schonfelder encouraged families to come along and make the most of the free events.

“Childhood is such a precious time - full of wonder, growth and discovery. Children’s Week is a chance to stop and celebrate our littlest residents and the enormous joy they bring.”

“These events are all about bringing families together and offering fun activities that kids are sure to love – and they’re free for everyone to enjoy,” he said.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen.
