The footpath or pathway renewal program covers the full or partial renewal or replacement of sealed or unsealed footpaths within Council roads or reserves. 

Works that are part of this program include:

  • Renewal of concrete footpaths.
  • Renewal of asphalt footpaths.
  • Re-sheeting of unsealed footpaths.

Below are some of the packages of works we are working on this year. Other smaller works not listed here may be undertaken as required.

All works are at different stages of planning and delivery. This page will be updated with the date of works once they are confirmed. 

Concrete footpath renewal 

Expected completion June 2027.

  • Sunset Strip, Jan Juc - Domain Road to Ocean Boulevard/Duffields Road roundabout.
  • Alexandra Avenue, Jan Juc - Sunset Strip to Crown Court.

Unsealed footpath renewal

Expected completion June 2027. 

  • Eighth Avenue, Anglesea - Melba Parade to Sixth Avenue.
  • Deep Creek, Torquay, nature reserve.
  • Anderson Street, Winchelsea - adjacent to golf course.
  • Painkalac Creek nature reserve, Aireys Inlet - River Reserve Road to Great Ocean Road.
