'Tracks' Community Art Showcase

Discover ‘Tracks’ — A Community Art Installation at Anglesea Art Space These July School Holidays!

Come along and explore this collaborative artwork that celebrates creativity, learning, and caring for our local environment.

Created by local primary school students and community members, Tracks is made entirely from recycled materials and inspired by the many paths across the Surf Coast—bush trails, bike tracks, rivers and beaches.

As part of the project, participants were encouraged to research the wildlife that inhabits these tracks, learning about native animals and ecosystems, before creating their artworks. Through this hands-on process, they deepened their understanding of the places they move through every day and how they can be better protected.

The result is a meaningful, collaborative artwork that celebrates our connection to place and reminds us of the importance of treading lightly.

Create with us to add to the Track!

Throughout the exhibition, visitors of all ages are welcome to contribute to the art installation through a hands-on activity. All materials are provided—bring your creativity!
