Anglesea Resale Shed

Anglesea-Resale-Centre-and-solar.gif

Secondhand furniture and other items that are too good to send to landfill can be purchased from the Anglesea Resale Shed, located inside the Anglesea Transfer Station.

The resale shed is a project of the Anglesea Community House (ACH) in partnership with Council and local community groups. Profits from items sold at the resale shed support community groups whose volunteers help to run the shed.

Opening Hours:

10am to 2pm – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.

Donations:
The Resale Shed does not accept direct donations from the community.

When visitors arrive at the transfer station with items that may be suitable for resale, after paying any applicable gate fees they are directed to a drop-off area on the upper level.

Resale Shed staff regularly inspect these items and select those suitable for sale. Decisions are based on the item's condition, available storage space, and previous sales history.

Staff working at the transfer station also identify clean, good-quality items as they are unloaded, helping to recover reusable goods and give them a second life.

Items that are not suitable for resale are recycled where possible or disposed of in landfill.

Find out how to get involved by contacting the Anglesea Community House on 5263 2116 or via email at info@anglesea.org.au
