Community_grants_logo.jpgSurf Coast Shire Small Grants Program

The aim of the Surf Coast Shire Small Grants program is to support community groups, projects and initiatives by encouraging new opportunities and strengthening collaboration between groups. The program is available to new and existing groups, to develop project ideas or improve services within the local community. Funds can be provided for projects and activities which fall into the following categories: Community Initiatives, Environment, Culture & Arts, Recreation & Leisure, and Events.

All community groups who submitted successful applications in the March 2014 round have now celebrated their success at a function held on June 16 and received their funds to carry out their various projects. The next funding round will be in September of this year, applications open on Monday 18 August. (Note the guidelines may be slightly amended in time for the round).
