About the Casuarina Project
The Casuarina Project has been successfully conducted across the Surf Coast Shire since 2001.
It has enhanced individual’s ability to plan, fund and deliver community activities.
It also has strengthened links between individuals, community groups, businesses
and local government.

Eco Casuarina
Following on from the success of the previous years Casuarina Project, the 2007/08
program has a specific focus on community based sustainability within the Surf Coast
Shire.
The program is being run as an integral part of the Surf Coast Shire’s Sustainability at
Home and Beyond project which will be officially launched in early 2008.
Applications for the Eco Casuarina are now being taken (until November 27 2007)
