Cr Kate Gazzard is a medical doctor nearing the end of her training as a paediatrician, working at Barwon Health and The Royal Children’s Hospital. She is passionate about public health, environmental protection and social justice.
Cr Gazzard lives in Jan Juc with her partner Ed and their chooks, bees and veggie garden.
She is Deputy Chair of the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria Accreditation Committee, Chief Registrar of the Women’s and Children’s department at Barwon Health, and a member of Doctors for the Environment Australia, Surfers Appreciating Natural Environment and the Surfrider Foundation. Cr Gazzard loves surfing, trail-running, yoga, gardening, drawing, painting, and badly playing the piano.
