Cr Liz Pattison is the Mayor of the Surf Coast Shire. She is an engineer with 15 years’ experience and lives in Jan Juc with her husband Sean, four primary school aged boys, dog and chickens. She wants to lead our community towards a sustainable future.

Cr Pattison is accomplished in strategic planning and strives to work collaboratively with the community, local business, Council officers and fellow Councillors. Cr Pattison values diversity and feels that our Council needs to reflect the people who live here. She is passionate about fostering a healthy and connected community.

As Mayor, Cr Pattison is committed to good governance and being a capable leader. This includes advocating for and addressing the bigger issues of climate change, environmental leadership, integrated transport planning and social infrastructure planning. She is focused on bringing everyone along on the journey and empowering the social capital we have in the shire.

Cr Pattison loves a good coffee and conversation at the school gate, or at one of our great local cafes. She is also very happy when out bushwalking, camping or having a picnic with friends and family at one of the many beautiful parks along the Surf Coast.
