Upcoming Council Election

The next General Election for the Surf Coast Shire Council will be held on:

26 October 2024

Following the Victorian Government’s electoral structure and ward boundary review the shire will change to three wards. The proposed names of the wards are:

Otway Range Ward
Torquay Ward
Winchelsea Ward

Nine councillors will be elected, three representing each ward.

The election will be completed via postal voting from 24 September. Ballot packs will be issued to all enrolled voters by the Victorian Electoral Commission.
