Kerbside bin disruptions

Drivers who collect residential kerbside bins in Surf Coast, Golden Plains and Geelong stopped work for two days on Wednesday and Thursday this week, as the union and Cleanaway continue their negotiations.

Thank you to Cleanaway and Council's Waste Services team for working together to ensure all the week's kerbside collections were completed with minimal disruption.

UPDATE: Saturday 20 May 2023 7:00pm

All kerbside collections in Surf Coast Shire are now complete (as of 2pm Saturday).

To catch up on the week's collections, many drivers were working in areas that were unfamiliar to them, and they may have missed some streets by mistake.

If your bin was missed, report it via the missed collection form online or the services tab on SCRRApp.
