“Our Local Legends awards recognise and celebrate people who are making a positive difference in our community,” Mayor Liz Pattison said.

“We congratulate them and thank them for their contributions to making our shire such a special place to be.”

Council will share profiles highlighting achievements and contributions of each of the Local Legends during coming weeks via surfcoast.vic.gov.au/LocalLegends, its Facebook and Instagram pages, and local media.

The Legends will also be acknowledged during Council’s National Volunteer Week celebrations in May.
