There are certain rules in place when it comes to your cats and dogs. If they aren't followed, our local laws officers can issue infringements, and the fine will be determined based on the Department of Justice and Regulation's penalty units system. The maximum penalties are listed below:

Unregistered dog or cat Court Imposed Penalty up to 20 Penalty Units
Dog found wandering at large or not securely confined to the owner's property Court Imposed Penalty up to 10 Penalty Units
Your dog and cat must wear the registration tag provided at all times, to ensure the ownership of the animal can be quickly traced Court Imposed Penalty up to 2 Penalty Unit
The owner of any dog that rushes at or chases any person Court Imposed Penalty up to 4 Penalty Units
The owner of any dog that attacks any person or animal Court Imposed Penalty up to 10 Penalty Units
Your dog or cat must not cause a nuisance Court Imposed Penalty up to 3 Penalty Units
