What is TORQUAY SOCIAL CONNECT DAY?

Our aim is to have a regular day and time to just to drop in, bring your lunch and refreshments, enjoy connecting with people.

A theme or activity for each Connect Day will be arranged by Torquay Social Connect Group - no need to book.

We will have a break over Xmas & New Year.

The next Torquay Social Connect Day after the Open Day will be 16 January 2026, then followed by the first and third Friday of every month at 12pm to 3.30pm.

For members and their guests and family

Local residents of the Surf Coast Shire who want to have fun in a safe and inclusive environment to connect with others.

• Live music entertainment by “Jelly Jazz”, comprising Adrian Newington and Gary Wood. Adrian and Gary are both members of the ‘Newport Fiddle and Folk club’. Adrian on Guitar, and Gary on Ukulele will play 60’s and 70’s music.
• BYO lunch & refreshments (full use of all the kitchen facilities available) - Coffee, tea, biscuits and cakes provided
• Door prizes - Fun - Friendship & Connection - Feedback and exchange of ideas for evolving the Torquay Social Connect Day is welcome.

Special Open Day is FREE for all to attend.

Future Torquay Social Connect Days will be FREE to attend for members, guests and their family members.
