Public Health
Council’s Environmental Health Unit consists of trained public health professionals and experienced administrative support staff. The Unit provides a variety of environmental and public health services including health education and the enforcement of relevant State legislation.

The Unit manages concerns and requests with regard to food poisoning, poor food handling, hairdressers and beauty establishments, accommodation, swimming pools and spas, nuisance complaints, immunisation, septic tank systems and the registration of food premises, temporary food premises and health premises.
